(b. 1987, Seoul) is an illustrator currently based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, where she has lived since 2021. Her studies in Editorial and Advertising Illustration at LABASAD have enabled her to merge a background in English Language and Literature—earned through a B.A. from Ewha Womans University—with her lifelong passion for visual storytelling.

Haerim became a devoted dog lover in 2015, the year she and her husband adopted two small dogs, Cheez and Rocco. Her pseudonym Cheero playfully combines their names. A fan of both adventure stories and real-life explorations, she brings a sense of curiosity and narrative depth to her creative work.
